Michigan   Metro Beach Metro Park     LOCATION: Mt. Clemens, Michigan DIRECTIONS: From 1-94 north Of St. Clair Shores take exit 236 (Metropolitan Parkway) and drive east 2 miles to park entrance. HOURS: Open daily from 8 a.m.-dusk. BEST TIMES: Spring and fall are the best times, but a trip anytime of the year can prove rewarding. BIRDING HIGHLIGHTS: Excellent for migrating waterfowl and songbirds in spring and fall. Good shorebird numbers when low water exposes mud flats.
