BIRDING HIGHLIGHTS: One of the finest spots in the Great takes
for enjoying spring and fall migration. The area checklist contains more than 300
species and is notable for the wide variety of species. Waterfowl, hawks, shorebirds,
marsh birds, and songbirds all pass through the area in great numbers. |
