About the Light:
|
|
Local boulders and stones were used to construct the
tower for this light, and it is said to be the first light in the nation to be powered
by natural gas. Today, only the stone tower is intact and the lanip facility is missing.
As a private residence, the site is not open to the public and can only be viewed
from the road. |
