Bois Blanc (Boblo) Island Lighthouse
This light originally marked the southern tip of Bois Blanc Island in the southern Detroit River. Modern aids to navigation soon
over-populated the area and this light was deactivated. Today all that remains is the stone tower. Both the island and the light are
privately owned and are being developed for residential use.
Established: 1839
