About the Light:
|
|
Like many lights in the lake, this one fell in the
area where Canada owned the lake, but the United States owned most of the vessel
traffic. At first, a lightship was placed in this position. After the lightship was
swallowed by the lake, the Canadian Government elected to build a light in its place.
Today the light-tower has been cut down to a helipad with it plastic lens attached. |
