About the Light:
|
|
Said to be one of the first lights on Lake Erie, this
light is in remarkably good condition considering that it was deactivated in 1900!
To access the site, drive along PA Route 5, Alternate (Lake Road East) and head north
on, of course, Lighthouse Street. The lantern room and watch rooms are wooden reproductions
built in 1989. |
