About the Light:
|
|
Erected as a replacement for the Buffalo Light ship
which was sunk with all hands in the "Great Storm ot 1913," this light
remains active. Painted red and white, the concrete structure appears to be constructed
with fighting off the lake in mind. The site is on property that is not open to the
public and although it can be reached by car, a pass with a motorboat may be the
best way to see it. This light was also, featured in the 1995 made-for-TV movie "Lady
Killer". |
