About the Light:

This replica of the 1877 Vermilion light is just one of many sights worth seeing in the port village of Vertnilion, Ohio. The maritime museum itself is one of the best, if not THE best, on the Great Lakes. From the gift shop where a person can obtain nearly everything ever written on the lakes to the library, where you actually can obtain everything written about the lakes, this museum will take an entire day to visit. When visiting Vermilion itself, lake buffs will wish that they were born and raised there. No trip to Lake Erie should miss Vermilion.
